Mike , be strong in your opinion as you were and it is noted appropriately but, without the icons of attempted humor or discontent . Ok ? Lavin greatly benefited from Norm’s 9 Seniors folly , didn’t he ? It was one of his NCAA teams here . Of which there were only 2 . Who gets credit for the players ? Norm or Steve ? Lavin only recruited well his first year with DLO, Harkless , Sampson, Greene , Pointer , Garrett, . Jordan and Obepka came later . Steve rode that Group for nearly all his time here and exited before the 1 and 17 BE Season that Mullin had to endure because Steve didn’t bring in anyone ! And , despite all the hoops of DLO, Pointer , Branch , etc . They had a terrible record their Freshman year , maybe a Mediocre Soph and Junior year and a first round and out NCAA Senior year . And , you Herald that ? I do give Lavin credit as he was a OK Coach . Not as good as you make him to be though . Mullin has had to rebuild from Lavin ‘s last Recruiting Class and who were they again ? I am not sure you are just Anti Mullin or Pro Steve ? And , I don’t recall such Lavin Loveness when he was here Coaching non chalantly on the sidelines with his smirk and folded arms ? Looking bewildered as he often did by what was happening on the Court . Have you forgotten ? You pick on Mullin for Nits , like not wearing a tie or sitting on the Scorer’s table. Why ? How about Lavin with his Sneakers and suit clothes . White sneakers that clashed . I don’t want a pissy contest with you but, let’s disagree civilly and not to a Street level of trash talking . You are a long time fan and respected by me and numerous others . I would expect the same in return , even if disagreement occurs . Thanks .
No offense, but you don't want a "pissing contest," but you continue to "relieve yourself" with this same stuff at every turn. I'm sure many already know where you stand (choosing sides like this is politics), and your posts reeks of disingenuity.
Just keep making up excuses, while I'll hope for wins and an ascension of the men's basketball program.
