Curbelo (Possibly) a Johnny

Curbelo, Posh, Pinzon and Wusu would be an interesting 4 guard lineup with Soriano at the 5. Lots of playmaking on the floor at the same time. Shooting would be a concern but Pinzon and Wusu would ideally knock it down when they’re open. Also could have a shooter come in off the bench (Storr maybe or a transfer). Shades of the ‘06 Nova team with Wusu playing the Randy Foye “4-man” role. Could also press the hell out of teams.
Would love to see that lineup.

Good thing you're not a talent evaluator.
That coming from the most inconsistent poster on the site..... If as you claim, Anderson is a very good coach, Champ, Posh, Wheeler and WUSU are that good, then how did they not even make the NIT? Since knowing your stance on Anderson, where no fault lies with him, ..... how can you possibly maintain that a highly regarded recruit is not worthy of starting over a player that could not help his team make the NIT?

Where did you read I said no fault lies with Mike Anderson? Find and quote that post for me, then we can have a conversation. Because if you can't find where I said that, then that means you would be a liar and you make up stuff because you're incapable of putting together a logical argument with actual facts, and if that's the case I don't want to have a conversation with you. I'm not a big of fan of liars.

Lol, I’m in my mid-40s at this point and I still get shutters anytime I see the inside of that gym.
Played some games there I take it. I've seen (never played) quite a few AAU and High School games there and saw some good talent. Add in the pictures on the wall of those I didn't see in High School but in college and the NBA, some good history there.

Yeah, I played there three times (all losses haha) because our HS coach always had us play a non-league game, midseason. At the time, being young, always hated that game because although we were a good team (lost to the state champs my senior year at Stony Brook) it was pretty intimidating going up there knowing we were probably gonna lose. But, years later, I realized what our coach was thinking scheduling them (non-league games were ostensibly exhibition in regards to making the playoffs).

My junior year, they had Vasco Evtimov and my senior year they had Drew Nicholas who I think was a sophomore, but he was a player even then.

Does anyone have any insight into a possible timeline for Mr. Curbelo? Seemed like there was a lot of chatter and then not so much. Would love to be officially welcoming him here.
