Not sure this quote is all that helpful from Kull. MSG having any type of discount for UConn was ridiculous and should never, ever happen again. We should be holding a significant amount of seats for students at MSG, full stop.

I expect a very tough game. If I were handicapping it I’d make us a 1.5 point favorite. UCONN just has so much more at stake. We will not win this one if RJ can’t go imho.

Us being a 1.5 point favorite at home means UConn is 2 points better than us on a neutral. The actual line will be closer to 7

I dont see it being that big. Uconn has beat marquette snd creighton on the road. I think it will be 4.5 or 5.
I understand that. I am just saying that is how I see this game for lots of reasons including uncertainty around RJs status. Part of that is also undoubtedly affected by my being a lifelong St. John’s fan

SJU will win with or without RJ. Hard to pick against them.
The margin will be larger with him of course, but this team has a will to win. They comport themselves with a quiet confidence and businesslike, which translates on to the court.
Not picking against them just think it’s going to a very tough game. Hurley will have UCONN about juiced up for this game as possible.
If Hurley has them juiced for the game, then it would be a breakthrough. Hurley has made his frustrations known about his team.
Remember, he was searching for some emotion from the team that he would have been good with a fight in the locker room.

I will say back in the day it was quite reasonable. Seems to me students who didn’t want season tickets or couldn’t afford them when the season started are now upset they are locked out. Not much the school can do with such a high demand game.
Coming up for game Sunday from Delaware and very excited. Last Sunday against Creighton was great and expecting a good hard fought game in which we will prevail . Gave up my Season Tix when we moved out of NY 4 years ago. Now might have to convince the wife to move back to NY now that Johnnies are back. Maybe buy a house across the street from Carnesecca? Maybe i can reopen Acquista? Become a sponsor? Mmmm! Maybe not! Haha

Students should be given priority for end zone tickets, regardless of revenue generation for the university.
