Yeah it's a tough thing. On one hand I didnt think Cluess should take the job but with 8 mill guaranteed it's pretty tough to turn down that money especially coming out of the american east or even Maac when it took so long to finally get over the hump and get into the big dance for Pikiell

agreed. He's what something like 48 or 49 ? that contract is like working at stony brook for 15 or 20 more years.

Dixon is probably another coach who wishes he was still in the Big East. Now that Virginia has elevated its program to rival Louisville and Syracuse with Carolina and Duke at the top how many games do you play a year against these five?

Not sure a lot of due diligence was done. Sounds like they swooped in to close before he could look around fully. Maybe he wanted to stay local.
