Cinn. coach, Mick Cronin, left town without accepting offer of over two million.
Search is being conducted by the UNLV president, the lame-duck AD, and an unnamed donor.
Media and fan reaction to Cronin was overwhelmingly negative.
Apparently, school is only interested in those who have had previous head coaching experience, and Steve
Lavin's name is coming up quite often, in media, along with New Mexico St. coach, Marvin Menzies.

A year ago we had posters saying no one would touch Lavin. Give him another year and he'll be in line to replace coach K.
