They are morons then if he is willing to take the job. Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder could see what he accomplished with peanuts for NIL.Louisville is going to require more name recognition.
He’s done well at the Hall but if I were Ville that’s a risky move to hire a young coach who has 2 NITs in his 2 years in the big leagues after the Kenny Payne experiment went array. He stepped into a Hall program that basically lived in the NCAA for half a decade. They are morons then if he is willing to take the job. If anyone needed further proof, this year at SHU cemented his bona fides IMO. Recruiting has changed completely, most coaches need to identify targets, money men need to reel them in; not 100% of course but close. Holloway would be an incredible pickup for Louisville, much to SHU and the BE’s loss.Coach Holloway has proven himself at St Peter's and Seton Hall. We all know that Seton Hall should have been in the NCAA Tournament this year. All the nonsense about his age and name recognition is just plain Bullshit. I believe that if Louisville were to pass on Coach Holloway it would be a mistake. Rick Pitino ain't going back.
Coach Holloway is 47 years old with a solid reputation as a recruiter and head coach. If he is seriously interested in the Louisville job, I don't believe there is a better candidate available.
Louisville will probably triple his NIL budget in one day. Also fair to wonder how much of Halloway's potential we would see at a SHU vs. LouisvilleI am hoping that Holloway is a Seton Hall lifer. It would be a major outlier in today's game. But that's where he belongs.
Also although he's a tremendous coach the grass is not always greener and I am not sure how his approach would translate to Louisville.
As much as I hate every single Big East opposition voach when we play them, the league is loaded with very good to great coaches that I respect immensely.I am hoping that Holloway is a Seton Hall lifer. It would be a major outlier in today's game. But that's where he belongs.

Can’t argue with success. No coach gets their team to play any harder than Coach H. In a year where his team was at a big disadvantage in overall talent, he got 13 wins in the Big East and a win over UConn. To myself and many he was the Big East COY. If he gets the Louisville job and brings some talent in (I’m sure their NIL is plentiful) watch out.Coach Holloway has proven himself at St Peter's and Seton Hall. This job swallowed Kenny Payne whole. Two years 12-52 and goodbye.
Agreed but …I am just suggesting that Holloway should be careful. I think he will have many chances at other attractive jobs. Resurrecting an ACC program that has zero patience could hurt his career. They expect 5 star recruits and National Championships ASAP. Holloway is a fine Coach but will he win major recruiting battles against UNC and Duke etc. ?Holloway is no Kenny Payne. Kenny Payne was terrible and that had nothing to do with Louisville.
