This is probably going to be the most coveted off-season job avaliable.
I expect a really big name here.
Miller had history with Xavier which also played heavily in his favor.

He was probably going to get fired in 2021 then went on a miracle 2.5 week run to win the P12 tourney and then make the Elite 8 and now he's going to be coaching into 2025 despite being one of the 2-3 worst power conference teams over the past 3 years. That run made him millions.
Hope we can keep using him and that program as a farm system of sorts going forward.

Holtmann's a pretty good coach, but he just got fired by OSU for not winning enough.

I think Holtmann is about as good as DePaul could possibly get. Better than they deserve. And they have historically been patient, so he might actually have a chance to make them a representative Big East program.
Trilly says its done fwiw. Also heard that their NIL is in the 2-3 million range, which would literally be like a 10,000% increase for them. lol
Happy for DePaul. He's a floor raiser, should get them to not be a Q4 game next year, and maybe even a bubble team in 2-3 years.
