I don't think this is a ploy by Cooley to get more money I think he is generally torn and appears to be leaning towards taking the Georgetown job.

Give him credit for his honesty. He literally said PC is his home and dream job and then said though sometimes change is needed and is good. I am paraphrasing.

These real estate rumors rarely pan out to be true, but is enough to raise my concerns about Pitino not being a done deal yet. I know everyone is telling me it's a done deal. I hope you are all right. The Providence job opening up is my biggest Pitino concern.

I remember him as being a really nice kid - very glad to see him do so well

Considering $1.9M fetches you a 2BR/2BA in DuPont Circle, I'd say he needs the cash for DC real estate.

Plus he has no idea what a public relations blunder this is.

I can't imagine what the Dunk is going to be like when Gtown comes in next year.
