Biggest problem I have with Ledlum so far is it seems he does not understand he isn't capable of playing above the rim. He attempts these super athletic drives and finishes that he just simply does not have in his arsenal. For him to find success he is going to really need to simplify his game
 
As tough as yesterday's game was to watch, it may be what is needed for this team.

Not that low scoring obviously, but this team does not appear to have enough to win high-scoring contests.
 
I hope I am wrong, but it just seems like it is going to be another year of disappointment after a long summer of hope and excitement.

Let’s talk a month from now. I saw a lot of improvement from Michigan to North Texas to Dayton. As I said, if we play them a month from now we win.
 
I trust Pitino that everything he decision he makes has purpose. I’m afraid we will dig ourselves a hole heading into the Big East that will be hard to overcome.

We haven’t had a bad loss yet, but I certainly don’t see any game as a guaranteed win.

Ledlum is not a big east player. Why is he here? He cant board or make a shot from anywhere, he cant jump or stay in front of anybody.guys go by him and he runs after them. Wasu is twice the player. What hurts is rick leaves him out there. How can any one bring in a bunch like these to sell out the garden? I have never been this negative on the board and Im sorry, but i also have never been this disapointed. # 5 aint getting it done in the big east. Did rick bring us any player who can play pro anywhere? I only hope i look like a dope in march.

The thing I am most surprised about so far this year is I don't think Rick has any idea what he has with this team yet. I feel like what he expected from them preseason and what he is seeing in the games are two completely different things and he has not adjusted yet
