We are heading towards playerless basketball.

Well mommy don't like us sju fans right, and maybe 5% talked bs about her son.
So yeah that's right and I'll keep on saying it BYEEEEEEEE

I wish the kid well. Mack seems very talented and we truly need a pure PG.
Very bad news at a bad time but hey, maybe this is 'it' for really bad news and a new HC and Staff will 'right' the ship and turn it around.
Let's go Redmen.

1) If Mullin stays then its hardly the kids fault that the only coach he's ever talked to on our staff isn't here anymore. Can't fault him for anything other than making his decision too soon. Staff has to take the hit for not being more involved in his recruiting.

2) If Mullin leaves, you do realize that the new HC can re-recruit him if we released him....right? Might be a bit too soon to get into a screaming match with his mom, unless of course you have a different PG lined up for next year you can hand off to the new HC.

Is it really too much to expect fans to show a little class when they are talking about a teenager and his mom?

It's unbelievable that no coach other than Matt had contact with Cam
Once CM knew that Hoiberg (and Matt) got hired, he should've immediately contacted Cam
Our program is officially in free fall mode
This could just be the tip of the iceberg

It hasn't anything to do with him, it's his mom blaming SJU for a few pos assholes, so don't she show some class.
And a screaming with her? Ummm, no. I don't do twitter, and social media.
I just got FB but hardly go on it.

So i'd rather him just go, then hearing about his mom going at it with fans.

Even if one were to subscribe to the theory that an assistant who's job is just to recruit is supposed to have a great relationship with a kid you have to wonder how is the head coach not building the same type of relationship after he commits when you are going to be coaching the kid

Cragg needs to step in and do something before it's too late.

Fire this clown. I was born in 86, I don't even know who Mullin is.

Just another coaching transgression in a litany of them committed by CM. But many suggest we should thank him for coming back to St. John's and "trying" to resurrect the program. Yeah, thanks for nothing. Not thanking him for the half assed way he went about his job. Forget the results it was the lack of effort that has me saying I'm happy he is taking his ball and going home.

as soon as he knew Matt A. was leaving he should of been a plane to make sure he was not going to de commit, he was our only and top recruit!

Way to support our kids. BTW, they are both great Johnnies and don't deserve this.

I love both kids. Way to try to translate tone from a 14 word sentence. **High Five**

Neither are PGs. You know that as well as I do.

“This was a very, very hard decision,” Mack said. “I honestly don’t know where I want to go. I’m going to start the process again. I would still consider going back there. I want to make sure I know what’s going on first.”
