Rebounding & defending take commitment, not there tonight

And yet we've won 6 games in the conference without doing either. And we won't do either consistently until next year, probably. We are who we are. The game plan is to win by outscoring the other team, your defense is supposed to be turnovers and blocks, that isn't happening tonight against a disciplined well-coached team.

My suspicion is that you will never see a huge commitment to defense and rebounding from a Mullin team, though it's too early to tell for sure. I don't think that grind-it-out in your face defense and dirty work is how he wants to play or to win.

We're going to win or lose playing the way we play.

We have 8 rebounds. I think they have just as many 3 pointers as we have rebounds. At some point these guys need to look in the mirror and realize these types of performances can't just be written off because of "youth and inexperience." I'm not giving them that cop out anymore.

Wow just saw the box score. They have 9 threes. We have 8 rebounds! Remarkable

Lawmanfan...you are right. It is
Not these kids fault that they haven't experienced our last fifteen years of exasperating play, where this seems like a permanent malady.
It's probably not....and they do provide some hope that each year out will be better.
It is still painfull to get that deja vu feeling

Thought Ali was recruited because he was a shooter Overtime I see him he never makes a shot
Should never play unless we are out of players. Does nothing well enough to justify the time he has gotten tonight.

Not losing sleep over this one. Just felt they were slower than usual recovering off switches & finding three point shooters. Rebounding void is self evident.

There is never ever an excuse for lack of effort. They continuously beat us up the court setting up the open 3s. They're playing with their heads up their rear ends. No excuses this late in the year.

Who's calling the game? he just went off on us for lack of effort. No damn excuse!!!

They are an older, stronger and more experienced team. Still no excuse for lack if effort.

Seton Hall wins with Carrington scoring 41 points.

He had 31 with like a minute and a half to go and I flipped back to our game. That's one hell of a finish for him.

I know Amar played well last game but can't understand why he gets more pt than Freud. Freud can't be any worse defensively or on the glass
