Amar is truly an eyesore. Not the only reason why we are getting smoked but he is just an abomination.

Every time I start to get really excited about this team, they hit me with huge dose of reality. At this point in the year, we should be past these long stretches of really horrendous ball.

How does he keep ending up in the rotation. He looks awkward out there.

It all started with getting beat on the boards.
Then we missed too many of our first 10 field goal attempts.
Then they rained 3s with confidence when we scrambled to cover the other guy's man who beat him.
And then ...and then....and then...
We did nothing well...again.
I guess we haven't stopped getting those "back of the barn" " learning experiences".

What an anemic offense 35 pts with i min to go and giving up 49 Now we are suppose to hold them next 1/2 and over come a 17 pt def beside hold them off the boards Terrible game and Terrible coaching WE should just forget the 2nd 1/2 and take the plane home Our only shot is by a miracle win the big east. After this season coaching staff do better prepare for games This kind of a 1/2 should not have happened. We had enough incentive to play hard.we look We looked like we belong at the bottom of the confr not 6th

So much for the SH game building confidence unless these jugg heads let it build overconfidence.

For those of you that are new to this......

at some point in the second half we will be teased by an incredible run. Just when you think it's possible and begin to wonder why we didn't play like this in the first half, we will give it all away again.

It's a young team and they are still learning how to win games. This is one of those situations where Butler is at home, wants the game more than we do for a couple of reasons, came out prepared to play from the tip, and not only is executing well, they are simply on fire.

Our group came in happy from the Seton Hall win, remembers that they beat Butler when they weren't as good as they are now, and basically got sucker punched. Lack of experience still showing for them. They've exacerbated the problem by jacking up one-on-everyone shots and thinking they can somehow make a 10 point play.

Mullin did some good work at timeouts getting them together so they could fight their way back into the game, but the Butler ball is just rolling down the hill too fast.

Chalk it up as a learning experience in a game they weren't going to win anyway. Certainly not with Butler hitting 58% from 3.

My guess is they come out more prepared to play in the second half, Butler cools off some (because they really can't get hotter), and St. John's covers the spread when all is said and done.

This was just one of those nights, stuff happens. You have to remember that St John's is not a top 25 team for a reason. It's all a work in progress. Right now the progress would be playing a good second half.

We have 8 rebounds. I think they have just as many 3 pointers as we have rebounds. At some point these guys need to look in the mirror and realize these types of performances can't just be written off because of "youth and inexperience." I'm not giving them that cop out anymore.
