Interesting observation from the game tonight...during a timeout, all players except Curbelo were huddled in a circle listening to Anderson...Curbelo was wandering about, not interested in what Anderson was saying at all...not a good look.
ADD is a real possibility with this kid!

Poshs contributions in prior years were based on his defensive abilities , causing turnovers and many times converting them into layups. SJU doesn’t press this year like prior years and his offensive half court game is either take the ball to the rim and throw up a forced shot or take a three point shot which has never been or will ever be his game.
Players of his height who dont have an outside shot have to develop the skill to shoot off the dribble. With his quickness he would be able to get off 15 to 18 ft jump shots without much defensive pressure but without that ability I am afraid he will never be an offensive half court threath

Good lord

Dude just because you want to be negative and doom and gloom don't get mad at me, the ignore feature works if my posts annoy you.

And FYI, Nova just lost to DePaul and Creighton has lost 7 of their last 10 games, and haven't beaten a decent team since before Thanksgiving. It's not like that's some wild prediction that would win me millions of dollars in Vegas saying they could beat those 2 teams and beat 2 horrible teams at home, when their home record is 9-2.

I honestly don't know what to think of Curbelo. Dude moves to the beat of his own drum. He had a good game and they won today. That's all I can say.

It's not being doom and gloom it's being realistic. The actual true odds of going 4-0 in those games is about 20/1. We'll be nearly double digit underdogs at Creighton and just small favs against Nova and SHU. The "most disappointing team in the Big East" is actually higher ranked on KenPom now than they were at the beginning of the season and that doesn't even account for their best player and 1st team All conference guy missing 3 key games. I know you haven't been around the past couple weeks but Creighton is a completely different team now than they were a month ago.

What's the point of you getting on a discussion board if you don't want to discuss anything, but instead just put other people's opinions down and tell them what is and isn't realistic. How realistic was it for Georgetown to win the BE tournament a couple years ago? You don't know what's going to happen, that's why the games are played. And if you do have some magical power to know the future, then I'm confused as why you on here being negative towards other people's opinions rather than being in Vegas right now racking up money.

So again bro, if you wanna be doom and gloom, and negative about everything, I'm not the guy to follow. I could understand if they just lost or played horribly and you're frustrated after a loss, but they just won, nobody wants to hear that negative crap after a win.

For me we have only lost one BE game that I thought was a W when looking at the schedule to start the season. That game was Marquette. We haven’t played well @ Seton Hall, @ Providence and @ Villanova the past few years. I know both Seton Hall and Villanova are “down” this year but if you include Providence who are 26-1 in their last 27 games at home against BE teams, I didn’t think we would sweep any of those three teams.

@ UConn - L
vs. Villanova - W
@ Creighton - L
vs. Georgetown - W
vs. Seton Hall - W
@ Xavier - L
@ Butler - W
vs. Providence - W
@ DePaul - W
vs. Creighton - L
@ Georgetown - W
vs. UConn - W
@ Marquette - L

So the key part of the schedule for me is the 9 games starting vs. Georgetown and ending vs. UConn. Can the team really go 7-2 during that stretch? Probably not, but we shall see.

That’s been going on all season if he wasn’t one of the five going back on the court.
