Mullin has to start Owens against centers such as, Chrabascz. He and most B.E. centers will eat up Yakwe. Have you seen Patton on Creighton play - forget about it!

I have not seen enough of them this season to say so they may play him at center but I don't really think of Chrabascz as a center. He's more of an in between SF/PF. Good passer, good shooter. He's definitely a guy who could get either Yakwe or Owens in foul trouble. I'd be more inclined to have Ellison on him except we need someone on Martin who also is an inside/out guy but is a lot more athletic so we have some serious matchup problems.
 
I would like to see Darien Williams gets some burn tonight. Particularly after the LIU game, I can't understand why we wouldn't see what he can give us against better competition.

Forget about the points, but he does give you length, energy and rebounding, and he cares about defense. No idea why he isn't used more - I think the team needs what he brings to the table.

Absolutely. And, his aggressiveness on the offensive end drew fouls against the opponent's big men. Of course, I do recognize it was LIU.

Couldn't hurt to give him a shot.....
 
I know a lot of posters are in South Florida, but for those who will be at the game be optimistic and loud so we can win this.

Thats nice Glad for him but lets be honest Can not seeing his present be a difference maker
unless he has one of his best games and provided CM gives him mins which are both doubtful Do like his effort and hustle but we need the game we played against CUSE to pull it off, IF WE DO ,we could say we tapped into something and future games in confr are very much in play

From all appearances Amar is a great kid who has a positive attitude and gives his all.

Having watched him on the bench cheer on his teammates with enthusiasm make me one of is fans.
 
I predict a win tonight....the "Good" will show tonight. Just a gut feeing....gotta go....game time soon. Go St. John's
 
Freud, Amar and Williams on w/ Ponds and Lovett. Hopefully Owens is not out for the game.
