If you listen to Sterling on the radio you better read about what happened in the game later or you will never know what really happened. First of all he changes his call as to what happened like 3 times. Example: line drive to deep left center field, it's way back there, it's gone for a home run, no wait a minute the left fielder caught the ball at the wall, no it hit the wall and bounced away and the runner is on second. Then Susan says it bounced over the wall for a ground rule double. :huh:

Well I guess the Yanks are embarrassed having Sterling announcing their games, they must save alot of money, I'd rather a professional as the radio announcer, but I got no say in the matter.

I made it through the 14th inning. Got up around 4 am to use the facilities, and checked my phone, where I saw the final, and read the recap.
I attended the 19-inning game against Boston a couple of years back. That was a Friday night, which was much more tolerable. Left that one when Boston went ahead in the 18th inning, as I wanted to make sure I caught the 3:18 am train from Penn Station (next one wasn't until 5:18).
I did stay for all 15 innings of the 2008 All-Star Game.
