My last word on this game, this team better understand they need to start playing real D or they are going nowhere. But I would not bet against Pitino but this was terrible. They made BC look much better than they are

We play Xavier in 10 days, they won't be any better defensively in 10 days, and so I guess we'll start 0-2 again in the B.E.

With this loss, I consider the pre season part as a big bust.

I'm not putting this on Rick, he had to get 12 guys in 3 months, that's tough.

I’ve been a Pitino supporter forever but if something isn’t working, something needs to change. BC won the game cause their guards kept driving to the basket and our guards continually either got beat or fouled them. How about…… throwing in a zone? Couldn’t be any worse. Players and coaching staff disappointing in this one.

They look more like 7th best this year. They may surprise some ACC teams this year with legit big and deep at guards

Agree but this does not look like a tournament team at the moment. I don’t believe in anointing saviors, particularly ones who haven’t played, but really hope Luis gets healthy.

I watched the game and didn't read any posts but if your guards miss so many shots and you can't play defense you are going to lose. I think what concerns me the most is our lack of a bench.

Ledlum is a disappointment. Cant shoot, defend, nor finish at the rim. The press was a failure with BC getting run outs. Our guards too easily get beat on dribble drives to the basket. Defense is just not this teams thing.

I'd like to see us implement some zone. I think if we go zone up by 10 and BC misses a couple shots or so, then you're probably talking about a different ending.
