Big East Tourney

I want no part of DePaul again.  That's a bad match-up for us.  Butler, Xavier, Georgetown, Marquette all much more appetizing.
Every matchup is bad for us if we don't make shots. /media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png

Crazy that this starts in a week and tickets haven't even been distributed yet. Wonder how this will even work.

1000 tickets divided by 11 teams you don't need to be a math major.

Throw in a few BE sponsors which I'm sure are going to get to reach into the cookie jar as well.  And you better be among the Top 75 people to a school, athletic dept, or coaching staff, otherwise you likely aren't seeing the inside of MSG next week.

I'd like to see tickets go to family members instead of random school employees.

I'm sure they will.  The number is going to get very small once the important people are taken care of.
Now will it change further along in the tournament as teams get eliminated?  Sure, likely.

Say we beat Seton Hall in our last game. We'll both be 10-9 in conference and 1-1 against each other. Who finishes ahead in the standings?

I believe it would go to us, since we beat Villanova.

Looks like Gillispe tore his acl.  We might want to see nova in the tourney instead of creighton.
Has that been reported? I saw it and it looked pretty bad but I haven't heard anything since he went off.

Just heard on the broadcast that nothing definite yet on the extent of Gillespie's injury.

All we need to do is get Posh back, beat Seton Hall and IMO we will make the tourney.  BET wins would help as well but gotta close out regular season with a win.  Great job tonight.  Don't care who we play in BET.  Just win against Seton Hall, that's our tourney ticket...

Even if we beat Satan Hall, I still think we need to win one game in the Big East Tournament to get into the NCAA Tournament

Why do you think it's a torn ACL?  Hopefully it's something minor, injuries are something I don't wish on anyone.  Hope he is alright, he was having a great year.

Im not wishing an injury on anyone.  Im telling you what it looked like to me.  And his mom in tears on the sideline after he was looked at by the trainors, it looked like she got some bad news.  ACLs can be diagnosed pretty easily.

If St johns beats Seton hall, can they get the 4 seed in the big east tourney?

Yes. Nova wins tonight. X loses to Marquette. We beat Hall.

Am I correct here.  If St Johns beats seton Hall and Xavier loses to Marquette:

St Johns is the 4 seed, SH is the 5 seed and Xavier the 6th seed.

meaning Johnnies/Hall matchup again on Thursday in the big east tourney.  Winner probably facing a non Gillispe nova team.

Is this correct?
