Big East Tournament

Yeah, but 4th or 5th is the same thing. Play #1 in semis.

If we win the 1st game I'd actually rather play Nova in the semi's. Kids would have more gas than they would the 3rd night

I don't think there is any way that Gtown will lose at home to the Hall. Providence is usually very good at home so I think they beat Butler as well. We shall see.

I think we may play Providence. Butler plays Providence on Saturday. If Butler wins, Providence would drop to 4.

Really want Butler. Think it will be extremely hard for them to beat us a 3rd time, just like it will be extremely hard for us to beat Providence a 3rd time. So them two facing off this weekend is huge

Based on current standings and the games on Saturday I would put my money on playing Butler next Thursday.

agreed

Revenge!

We can't go lower than 5, and I don't think we can move to 4 since we could be tied with Butler but they would win the tie-breaker so you're right, probably Butler on Thursday @ 2:30. We owe them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in the unlikely event that Georgetown lost and Butler won there would be a 3 way tie for third and STJ would win the tie breaker of 3-1 against the other 2. Would play Xavier first round if it played out that way, no?

Exactly. This is the only scenario that gets us out of the 4/5 game. Otherwise, we will simply play the loser of the Butler-PC game.

Oh, and this also assumes that STJ beats Nova. ;)

If G'Town & Butler win today, we get Providence for a 3rd time, correct?

We play Providence. Win we are the 4 seed. Lose we are the 5 seed.
