BET - Wed., Mar. 7, 7 p.m., Georgetown (8) vs. St. John's (9), FS1, Radio TBA

Tremendous second half. Win or lose tomorrow, this is a team to watch next year. Players should want to play for Mullin. You get encouraged and not screamed at, and get to play NBA type offensive sets. Have to say it J'Raan-you blew it kid. Just like Angelo Dundee yelled to Ray Leonard. But Leonard got off his stool and knocked out one of my favorites, Tommy Hearns. Instead of hearing the roars in the Garden, J'Raan will be on the other coast wondering what the Garden must be like when you play for a Big East tournament title. Come on Jordan Brown, be a leader and head our way.

.......The amount of minutes they have played lately is truly remarkable
Ponds coming off injury played 36/ 40 minutes
Owens 34/ 40 minutes
Clark 34/ 40 minutes
Ahmed 33/ 40 minutes
Simons with would trouble in 1st half 29/ 40 minutes

34 minutes 36 minutes? that's an easy night for our guys :D! #noquitkids

Just leaving the garden at halftime of the second game.
OUR GUYS WERE GREAT TONIGHT. Held them to 29 points in the second half. Made them just uncomfortable enough with tough D and never looked back. Great call by Chris to go to a zone at crucial point. Great job by Simon to play with two fouls for last 5 minutes of first half. And to take over game with steals and drives when Shamorie was off the court in first half. Great team effort. Go Redmen!

Xavier......this for you!

For the lovers of the zone defense it is obvious now that the team practices it and it worked but we are a man-to-man team by tradition. It's nice to break with tradition when it counts!;)

Has Brooks committed anywhere else yet? Why not revisit if only reason he de-committed was losing streak? Of course may have been other reasons where things have not changed.
You wouldn’t expect a Gtown Team Coached by Ewing to play any other way . Hoyas got a little chippy when their fate was sealed . I knew GTown could not sustain that 3 Pt shooting in the second half . And , their young guards wilted in the second half . It’s been their Achilles heel all season . Great win and Mullin used Simon , Ponds and Clarke to great advantage . Owens had a nice game and Trimble contributed early 3’s in first half . On to Xavier . It’s unfair to have to play barely 12 hours later but, it’s better than going home tonight .
My 3 most-hated original BE programs have always been UCONN, G*TOWN, ‘CUSE—in no particular order.
A great win tonight!!!
This is a very special team. MJM coined them the “#noquitkids”. And they are that in spades!
We can beat Xavier. Let’s do it.
On a run here we go.
Never say never.
Let’s Go Johnnies...!

I figured if we were close at the half we would win. Their 3-pt shooting was bound to cool and I thought we'd run them out of the Garden.

Beat X if we can stay out of foul trouble. Go Johnnies!

Great 2nd half.....really love this team. Just praying the core four return. They get it now and with just a little help, they could be dangerous next year.

Great post Ray. This is a very special team. There’s no-quit in MJM’s copy-righted “#noquitteam”. And you’re right, Mullin deserves a lot of credit for how these guys face adversity.
Let’s beat Xavier.
The future is ours.
