Only news article I can quickly find regarding that year. Cooley is doing just fine in comparison lol. We are doing more then fine FINALLY! I still remember rooting for Phil Missere as a walk on that year and next year Norm did the right thing and gave im a scholarship! Norm was a good clean man, however not a great head coach.

I think Gtown just playing at the Garden a few days ago give them a little advantage to start the game today. If i was a betting man, Id take Gtown to cover in the 1st half.

Marquette is still a pretty good team even without Kolek. Thursday would still be a win and in game for us and I'd rather take my chances as ~4 pt favs vs SHU than a pickem vs Marquette after we played the night before
Marquette is still a solid team for sure. Especially with Kam Jones assuming more responsibility, but still rather have UConn on opposite side of bracket.
Obliques tend to be at least a few weeks.
He might very well come back this week, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's done for the year, and Smart is just saying otherwise to protect Marquette's NCAA Tournament seeding.
