(BET) Creighton, Sat., Mar. 15, 6:30p, FOX

My wife and I were at MSG in 1983, 1986 and 2000 for our 3 finals wins but last night an "ethnic" group of which I am an officer had their annual formal gala. We were disappointed at not be at or being able to see the game (no TV at the place). Finally had an idea that we might be able to stream Channel 5 and found out we could because of the cable service we have. Then rather than stream on cell phone, my wife suggested we bring her I-Pad. Got to the venue and got the password into the wireless connection. Got some Guinness and watched the game during the cocktail Hour plus with refills and pigs in the blanket. Numerous fans stopped by for updates. I told my wife from beginning was all we had to do is keep it close and then the last 10 minutes would be ours. Stayed in the Cocktail room until Fox went off as we were ecstatic and then joined what was most enjoyable gala ever. Slainte--did we ever celebrate!

Admittedly still has a lot of work to do be “RP approved” but the kid absolutely has skills…think Pitino acknowledged the skills but is a bit disappointed in the level of improvement…hope he stays and commits to Zuby-like work ethic but its the NIL era and pay cuts will probably replace reduced PT as the coaches way to incent xfers

On way home last night some buffoon called in to WFAN quoting all the garbage from The NY Times article re: SJ NIL and Repole…friend of Repole called in shortly and blasted the guy…the host (Al ?) is all in on SJ

Traudt seems to hit big shots for them every other game too. Zugic also. Buffett-NIL should get enough starters to fill out. Definitely should be competing for top three next year again

My significant other has turned into a St. John's "fool" like many of us. She started watching Johnnies games with me during Anderson's last season in which she became a fan. Last season is when she started turning into a "fool" like us, and this season has only deepened her love for the team. She can't wait for Thursday/Friday to roll around. 😀 I can't blame her as this season has been pure euphoria.

1000%. He’s top notch as a coach and a class act. He overachieved with that team IMO with Isaacs going down. He develops kids. He keeps them though Creighton’s NIL is surely a part of that like everywhere. He should never leave there. He can win at a high high level and is appreciated by the majority of their fans I’m sure.

I'm so happy you were there. As they cut down the nets, i thought of guys like you, and all our other remote fans who post here daily, and the ones that are abroad. I think Gonzalo got hooked when Looie visited Spain long ago. But i know guys like Dinkins, the guys in NC, FL, TX, CA,OH, everywhere really. I know each of you wanted to be there but we were repping you.
