The past few were all very nice. Especially the last one in Bahamas and even Orlando. Charleston too. Even a simple gathering and group pic.... so much for alumni relations..

There will be informal gatherings at the Swimming Pig restaurant before the games but it's not an alumni or R/W event where food and or drinks are free. You are on your own.

I would be very surprised if the school doesn't host an event.

I know there are other fans attending beyond this board, as well team families/friends etc... but just looking back at this thread doesn't seem like too many posters from here are going.
Maybe the school got the total ticket count for StJ and thought it wasn't worth it, saving $, or keeping it to a select group of larger donors.
my family kept asking if anything was happening as they really enjoyed that experience at several other holiday events and thought it was a nice touch..
We made dinner reservations before the games.
it's less than a week away.... Who are they going to communicate to?

Nothing posted on general alumni events page or see any emails from alum relations.
Also, clearly my Red White club level didn't make the cut for being on a select email list for this one either lol

The extreme value of board social coordinator MM will be clearly evidenced by his absence this trip. He would seamlessly take this stuff on ensuring the best possible fan experience for all Johnny travelers. I fear chaos without him.

Now the question is, what did your wife get in return in order for her to agree to that? Whatever it is, it probably was not cheap.
From my experiences wives are tough negotiators and usually have the last word.
