That’s why it is absurd that the refs spend 5 minutes to put .3 seconds back on the clock at the end of halves and games when there is no way the time is EVER dead nuts accurate.So did Baylor. They choked several times too. Missed free throws galore just like us.
Regardless of who “deserved” to lose, by rule the clock starts when the ball is touched. If that rule is followed by the clock operator it becomes a much more difficult shot attempt for Baylor. It is ridiculous that they botched that. This is a high level Divison 1 basketball game. Like give me a break
At the end of the day, just another mind numbing “what a great win this would have been” loss that should not have been. And hopefully I am way wrong but it has that “man, we are going to regret this one at the end of the season” feel to it.
