(Baha Mar Hoops) #13 Baylor, Thu., Nov. 21, 7p, CBSSN

so did Drew have a horrible one too?
Don’t know, don’t care, I follow St. John’s. And my opinion of Pitino is built over the year+ he has been here, not just this game. Sitting Smith for the extended time while Baylor erased the lead made no sense, having Eijofor in the game at the end made no sense, having a normal player free throw alignment on the last free throw which pretty much allowed Roach a free ride up the court for a GREAT look under those circumstances made even less sense than the no sense those first two made.
You guys can dislike my candor all you want, just use the ignore button, I do. OR, better yet, refute my posts with some thoughts of your own as to why you disagree with me. But I am reacting to what I see NOW, not clouded or muddied by what Pitino accomplished in the past.

Don’t know if it was a second but it did start late
It's always going to start a little late, though.

There's always going to be a little time in between the guy touching it, and the human finger on the timer actually starting the clock. You see it get touched, then the human brain says start the clock. It's going to take a few tenths of a second, all the time.

Get over it. We deserved to lose for a million reasons.
So did Baylor. They choked several times too. Missed free throws galore just like us.

Regardless of who “deserved” to lose, by rule the clock starts when the ball is touched. If that rule is followed by the clock operator it becomes a much more difficult shot attempt for Baylor. It is ridiculous that they botched that. This is a high level Divison 1 basketball game. Like give me a break
