Asst coach discussion

Isn’t there a rule that Bormans players can’t join us for two years if he is hired but isn’t an assistant? Or is this an old rule ?
 
My best case

Head coach -MA

Associate HC - Cleveland (young, familiar, balanced)

Assistant - Hsu - (local / recruiter / coach)

Assistant - Borman (local / recruiter)

Special advisor - Watkins (older maybe has less aspirations/hunger to make new connects)

DOBO - Reid (Local / familiarity)

Admin- Huey (holdover / continuity)

It’s fine if he is a full assistant just not as a dobo

Works for me if Watkins is ok as advisor. Honestly, didn’t think of him in that capacity. Good call.
 
Watkins at 64 years old probably would prefer to not have to recruit.

Yup, according to his bio, TJ has been an AC since '06-'07 with CMA at Missouri is regarded as a solid recruiter and also a great backcourt coach.

Head Coach and his three assistants are allowed to recruit.
 
Has coach provided any kind of timetable. I would feel better if the players could get a sense of who will be coaching them.
