Borman had the quicker recruiting contacta, but DeMeo I think brings a lot more to the table overall. Experienced guy who can both coach and recruit. Our staff would have a lot of experience overall and few of the flawed issues that plagued us before . We won’t have an Abdelmassih who was a quick-trigger recruiting guy, but I’m not sure Anderson wants that anyway.

Paultz is great. He’s our guru of the ‘sign’, shedding some insight on developing events.
A few weeks back I took a quick look at the NW Florida State roster.
As you know, Duarte committed to Oregon long ago, and Hamlet committed to NT a few weeks back to a month ago.
As I recall, not sure there’s anybody left of that level, but there were 1-2 possible ‘pieces’ .
Dunno if they committed anywhere else.
The two best might be: Noah Morgan, a 6-5 G from Yonkers, 24mpg, 8.9 ppg, 40% 3pt %, 75% FT%, 0.9 a/to, and Eric Vila, a 6-10 F from Spain, 29mpg, 10.9ppg, 5.5DRB 33.7%from 3, 69% FT%, 1.3 a/to.
Two other part-time guards, Trey Diggs 6-5, and Kayne Henry 6-7 had some solid stats playing about 16mpg.
Again, no clue, if these other guys committed elsewhere in the interim.
P.S. Missed it, Eric Vila committed to UTEP last November.
But far as I can tell Noah Morgan still uncommitted.
P.P.S. Noah Morgan verballed to Eastern Michigan in April.
Looks like all of DeMeo’s top kids got D1 ‘ships.

About 8 hours ago I asked if DeMeo was still an option after Paultz indicated Borman was still in it... do we really know or are we grasping at straws?

Dunno. The buzz shifted late in the day. Paultz has an avatar up of DeMeo's pic. All i know.
The 'wild card' may be if Cooley jumps to Michigan...it's just me, but I wonder if PC would 'reach' for DeMeo?

I'm as bewildered as you Paultz, since as of yesterday Borman was definitetly still in. That much I can say with certainty. I have no idea what, if anything, transpired today. But this entire "in and out" saga has been a head scratcher.
