So, Kentucky finishes unbeaten and wins it all
Cal decides he's bored at Kentucky and gets an NBA job
Slice sees Cal leave and decides to come to SJU
Briscoe gets out of LOI with the coaching change and joins Slice
Diallo figures everybody recruiting him is at SJU so he comes as well
Sampson says to himself, how can I not join this party, so he commits
Jordan and Obekpa see all this happening and decide to stay another year
And then I woke up from my nap
Great dream while it lasted

Grasso was mentioned initially by reporters, but I still think Slice will come.
Also, Moose would never permit Grasso to take the job.
i think Grasso would be the backup plan and i think he is a more than good back up plan too - dont let the interim year at Fordham jade you - he will be fine recruiting especially the JuCo's

Guessing that would make him highest paid assistant in the country and way into the 50th percentile or more of all D1 coaches. I see more of $425K range,m but you could be right.

I'm not even bs'ing here, but I swore I seen Slice yesterday in maspeth by Rosa's pizze waiting for a bus. I was tempted to go up to him, but was saying that it's not him. I mean uk has a game in indi in a day. Just click that article with his pic, and I swear if it wasn't him, then it;'s his twin.
Again, it probably wasn't him but then again, I wouldn't doubt anything.
oh and not that this means anything but he had a suit on.

Almost makes me want to root for Kentucky
Ironically if it wasn't for Slice we might already have all of those players in place.
Sounds like we're finally going to get our man after multiple tries. We should be a force locally for sure. I hope we remain a force nationally and pick it up internationally as well.

I swore I saw Chris Mullin coming out of Hollywood Tans in Forest HIlls. He looked eerily orange. Must be part of his comp package.

If it appears that Mullin and Matt are having a hard time to sway Diallo and or Yakwe, maybe we can hire Jimmy Dolan as another assistant coach to close the deal on both of them?...they are both from Africa and he was able to land Saleh from Africa and he went to great lengths to get him :cheer:
