Just FYI.

I guess I would be inclined to go with Chris Mullin's opinion over his, not knowing much about Pinkney's coaching ability.

PMG followed up by saying it's because he wants Slice. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

I think he means with Slice and Abdel has the recruiting part down, maybe would want 3rd guy to be a George Blaney type guy.

BTW I believe PMG is friendly with Terence for what that is worth.

Slice making 375k a year at UK - similar to the last staff's assistants.

if they were ponying up that much for Whitesell, Hines Keady and the rest of those humps they can make it work for Slice.

I have always thought of him as potentially cheating the system to land these unbelievable Kentucky classes. I also remember not being impressed with him while he was at Manhattan College.

it's not about the coaching it's about the recruiting. Plus maybe he is the type that is good on the bench but not as the lead coach.
