I know many here don't believe this guy, but JayOn saying that Mullin will be keeping one guy from Lavin's staff and that Lavin seems to have the ASU job.

He is probably getting both of those from Lavin, which we know means they are probably not 100% truthful. Lavin always puts a positive spin on things.

Would not be surprised if it was Derrick Wrobel. Great organizer and coach will probably need somebody like that.

He's a twit. He is literally wrong 100% of the time when it's not something a player would know.

He's not exactly going out on a limb. Lavin had like 40 assistants and one of them is a former player, and I find it hard to believe Mullin would ever treat a former player badly.

He always ridiculed Lavin for his flaws that we all saw, but he has been defending him lately. Mostly defending him as a person and not his coaching.

Don't remember exactly but didn't his hire cause a backlash from some AAU coaches/programs? Did he bring in any prominent recruits?

Don't remember exactly but didn't his hire cause a backlash from some AAU coaches/programs? Did he bring in any prominent recruits?

There was some stir, but don't remember details. Don't remember who he recruited while here, but at Riverside he did work with Omar, Jessie, Artest & Barkley. Long time ago.

@jimbaumbach: Kentucky assistant Barry Rohrssen's contract, obtained by Newsday, runs thru 6/2016. Pays $375k, but no buyout. Just needs Cal's permission.

@jimbaumbach: I shouldn't even term it as Cal's permission. Contract simply states Rohrssen agrees to not pursue job elsewhere without telling Cal first.
