Assistant Coaches

probably waiting to see if they offer Ed P the head job and if not, he will be next to Mully.

Bulls are going to put the full court press on Hoiberg. Eddie P doesn't have a shot at this job…… I hope!

ISU has a 4* PG recruit that could open up if Fred moves on

I think it's already been discussed that Noskowiak isn't an option. He was already committed to a BE team, Marquette, then released from his LOI. Think that precludes recruiting him even if he were interested, which others have indicated that he is not.

We already have our own 4* freshman PG. I'd be more interested in the two redshirt seniors they have that could be eligible for immediate transfer: Jameel McKay and Abdel Nader. Both were transfers into ISU, presumably landed by Matt A (as that is his specialty).

ah didn't know that

@NYPost_Brazille: Chris Mullin also said he plans to hire an assistant coach before live july recruiting period. Said there are a few options. #sjubb

FYI - Charles Oakley was on campus this morning... was seen running laps around the lacrosse field with members of the b-ball squad... Hmmmm.

Love Oakley. Just one tough dude. Opponents wouldn't dare drive the lane for a layup unless they were certain their term life insurance policy was up to date.

He was always a fan of the program. I remember seeing him pretty frequently at the post game presses at the Garden during my college years 1988-92. He used to come and talk to the players, especially Jayson Williams.

Ed Pinckney has been retained by the Bulls as Hoiberg is keeping the current coaching staff relatively intact.

Where does it say that?

Hoiberg's long "to-do list" includes "... keeping the current Bulls coaching staff relatively intact ..."

A friend and I saw him at a game way back when. My buddy shook his hand and said it wrapped around his twice like he was a baby. He was a tough guy in Elmont, but looked like a scrawny dwarf compared to Oakley.

The newly-named Bulls coach admittedly still had unfinished goodbyes to wrap up in Ames, Iowa, had film to watch on all 82 regular-season Bulls games and then 12 playoff games from this past year, draft prep, keeping the current Bulls coaching staff relatively intact, reaching out to the players on his new roster...........

and from the Bulls website....

Basketball Operations
General Manager – Gar Forman
Head Coach – Fred Hoiberg
Assistant Coaches – Adrian Griffin, Ed Pinckney, Mike Wilhelm
