Seton Hall OOC schedule has been incredibly weak and that was exposed today.

Incredibly weak? They played four teams (three on the road) with good RPI's (under 75) and went 2-2. Their SOS is 112. It is not at the top of the country, but it's stronger than 2 out of 3 D 1 teams.

I would chalk this up to a young team playing a buzz saw on the road. This game is not indicative of this team. It is a throw away.
 
You realize that all nova fans think wright is a terrible in- game coach? He is not that sharp

Every program who watches every game their coach coaches is gonna have problems. I couldnt tell you how many times ive seen a Jay Wright team look like they were all but done and come back and win the game. He is a very, very good coach.

The best about freshmen is that some of them actually go on to be sophomores. :)
 
Big comeback by Creighton here. Down by just 2 with 56 seconds left. 2 fts for North Texas, though.

I live between Dallas and Denton and took my boys to this game. Not often a Big East team travels to UNT. Creighton did not look good at all until late in the game. Not much of a home crowd for UNT with students home on break. Seriously must have been at least two thirds of the crowd for Creighton in an arena that was less than half full. Hard to watch a Creighton team that couldn't shoot after what we have seen in recent years.

You can't really look at the RPI ranks this early. Illinois State is ranked 41st, but they are 6-3 and only ranked high in the RPI because of their matchup vs. VCU (#3 RPI). On paper they haven't played a terrible schedule, but no real impressive wins.
 
DePaul is getting smoked by Ohio U & about to lose their fifth game in a row. Purnell, "dead man walking".
 
Mike Dunlap's Loyola Marymount team just beat DePaul 72-69. Coach Dunlap has almost a whole new team out there. They play hard but have lost some close games. DePaul is just lost, seems like they have some decent players but just can't put it together.
