Creighton lighting it up from 3pt land.Hope our perimeter defense will be ready.

How likely is that?

...

That just makes you and some others giddy. The most excitement of your evening.

I love seeing our Big East brothers grabbing top 100 recruits! I know St. John's will get its shre for 2014, so it is great to see Providence and Villanova getting it started early.

would like to see us getting some early 2014 players Frankly surprised we have not netted one yet

Why surprised?
Only 9 of the Top 25 per Rivals have verballed to date.

Anyone know whether we're involved with anyone in the top 25? Or, can any of them shoot is probably a better question.

@NYPost_Brazille: Villanova fans are louder down 22 than St. John's fans have been all year.

She said a Georgetown vs Syracuse not a Georgetown or Syracuse. She was talking about the rivalry.

Actually originally it didn't. The writer went back and edited it. Thats what caused the above posters to misinterpret.

Gtwn heading back to Asia. That story is dated July 2013. Think it has happened!

@NJHoopsHaven: Just saw the latest Top 25. Villanova is up to 4th. Creighton is out (26th). UConn 27th.

It is criminal that Creighton has been out of the top 25 at any point this season. No other team falls further with a single freaking loss every time. They are a top 20 team this year and I'd be shocked if they didn't make the Sweet 16.

McDermott and his teammates are just possessed behind the arc, tonight. McDermott has lit it up in the second half.

'Nova has also been late on several close outs, as well. Regardless, Creighton has been unconscious with the 3-ball.

The three point shooting percentages of most of that team are higher than our two point shooting percentages.

Zinger and true...our fans (in general) are afraid to cheer or boo...I remember Alumni Hall rocking back in the 70s and that was before the Mullin days...we would be making a comeback and the rhythmic "Hear we go Redmen, Hear we go" would be reverberating...When I go the games now, I feel as if people are looking at me cross eyed if I scream something (positive or negative)

Pauley Pavilion in any UCLA down year.

Maybe it's revisionist history but I thought there were a lot more students at the Alumni Hall games then, at least that is how I remember it.

I graduated in '75.

3 point shooting with some degree of accuracy is a integral part of College BB ..Creighton is close to a record vs Nova for BE conference games. Very Impressive bounce back for the Blue Jays after getting walloped against Providence.

Creighton plays like a "team"...SJ plays like disparate parts with each looking to do their thing...Perhaps the best evidence of that was Phil Greene's post game comments after the Dartmouth game...he essentially said that he made up his mind prior to the game that he was going to be aggressive and shoot anytime he was open...

On the surface, nothing wrong with his comments (his intentions were good) and he did have a very good offensive game...so kudos to him...I just get the sense that our guys are more concerned with their individual impact than with winning...

And Creighton has sold out every home game for the rest of the season....except for 1....against the current cellar dwellers....

I tend to agree...

It would be interesting to see how Creighton would fare against the Syracuse Zone. Maybe in the NCAAS they will meet.

PITT, had a good game plan against the Orange in the DOME. Game could have gone either way. Pitt has the size inside to get into the middle of the Cuse Zone and cause trouble..
