How can this guy be taken seriously? Saying he doesn't know if Mullin came into a tough situation at St. Johns. Saying the Mullin name has zero credibility in the NYC highschool basketball scene.. I would love to punch this guy like Kendall Gill did a few years back.

Intelligent no doubt Tim Doyle but he clearly is missing some facts when it comes to Georgetown and SJU. When Esherick was canned his recruiting class that he left for JTIII included Green and Hobert amongst others , both high first round picks , as well as leaving a complete roster.
When Lavin was canned he left Mullin Amar , Félix and CJ. That was the complete roster he left.
Other than when the coach at Baylor $$$$$$$ was canned for assisting in covering up a murder I am hard pressed to think of a coach who inherited a worse situation than coach Mullin.
Just be fair in your assessment.

Let's not forget that the NIT title he claimed they won, was if I'm not mistaken, vacated.. IDK.. Just don't like the mouth on that guy..

seems like some sour grapes. he wasn't exactly loved at St Johns and after he fled, the Northwestern fans hate him.

I worked with his brother years ago (former PG for Iona) and met Tim when he was a HS kid...Nice kid but got screwed by Jarvis so who knows what is feelings are towards SJ. Obviously not reflective of the reality based on comments that guys like Ponds et all have made about wanting to play for Mullin. Tim is a B1G guy and is not going to throw roses at SJ. Take it where it is coming from
 
Former Redmen Adonis DeLarosa is going to the NCAA tournament. Didn't do much for Kent State who was led by Brooklyn's Jimmy Hall.

If he asked for a release, then yes he signed a LOI. I don't know if the BE transfer rule applies for LOI releases, however, with the student asking for the release, I believe GTown could put stipulations on the release in terms of where you can't go.

Hope Friars (and all the BE teams win). Did anyone else find it odd that Marquette was seemingly a higher seed? I actually though they might not get in.
 
Providence looks like garbage now that USC has taken the lead. What a turn around and Cooley with nothing.

Cooley was not out there going through the motions. He has proven his chops, as I said many times this year about us, this is on the players.
