Always thought he was very much in the D-Lo mold. Hell of a college player who could play anywhere, but too much of a tweener to make a career in the NBA, among other reasons. Should make a nice living playing high level pro ball for a while.

Spurs waive Joel Anthony, Ryan Arcidiacono, Patricio Garino and Livio Jean-Charles » gospu.rs/2f3fZ0f

This is why Creighton is getting so much respect this year. From NBC Sports, list of best backcourts in country;

#5. Maurice Watson Jr., Marcus Foster, Ronnie Harrell Jr., Davion Mintz, Isaiah Zierdan, Khyri Thomas, Kobe Paras)

I love this Creighton group mainly because I love the duo of Maurice Watson Jr. and Marcus Foster. Watson is a redshirt senior and one of the best point guards in college basketball. Foster? He had a monster freshman season at Kansas State before a disappointing sophomore campaign resulted in him transferring out of the program. He’s had a year to stew while sitting out at Creighton, meaning that he should come back in shape and angry this season.

Xavier #8

Testament to the impact that a good PG can have on results. And, hope for us!

Not bad!
Per Rothstein;
Arizona, Auburn, Duke, Gonzaga, Illinois, Xavier, Iowa State, and San Diego State will headline the 2018 Maui Invitational, per release.

No more Chaminade? That's odd.

From an article I was reading:

As for Chaminade, the host school will still get a chance to compete for the championship in odd-numbered years, beginning in 2019, but the field will be exclusively Division I in even-numbered years.

Sucks for them. I'm sure they get a nice amount of money for playing in that tournament (not to mention all the publicity from being on ESPN). For a D2 school, that can't be underestimated. Now, those profits are being cut in half.

Would love to be invited back when we have a good team. Last year was a rough one to be invited.

Per Evan Daniels, winning title has its dividends.

Villanova is going to have a massive recruiting weekend. Lonnie Walker, Quade Green, Immanuel Quickley & others expected to attend.

Xavier beat Georgia in closed scrimmage. Best players for X were Bluiett and Macura, Maten stood out for Bulldogs, per source.

Macura is going to be an excellent wing. Killer shooter.

Excellent stretch for Friars, 3 freshmen showing well: Young, Diallo, White. PC 61, Carleton 52 #PCFriars

Maliek White (15 points) has been outstanding here in 2nd half. Part of 3-man frosh class, good showing. PC 76-60 w 5 minutes left

Providence wins, 87-69. Emmitt Holt is a keeper: 19 points, 10 boards. Three frosh showed up nicely in 2nd half. #PCFriars

Transitional year for PC.
