Chris Holtmann in tears. Butler assistant Emerson Kampen's 6-month-old, Emerson IV, died Monday of genetic disease. "This one's for them."

Rough year for the Butler basketball family. It's unfair, to be honest.

Looks like maybe the upset of the year in Chicago tonight, though DePaul is trying to lose it late. Up by 5, with 39.7 seconds to go.

DePaul at home beats Providence by 7 Bentil played sparingly with turned ankle.

Daniel Ochefu is officially listed as doubtful for Saturday's game at Providence. From Nova Twitter guy. Big game for PC, looking like a sellout. It will be interesting to see if Bentil plays.

Nova over PC. Friars fought back after trailing double digits most of game, but came up short. PC has not played well at home for whatever reason. Dunn was 4/15 & Bentil played well despite being hobbled.

Jevon committed to play for St. John's back in October 2010 but academic and life issues caused him to decommit.

Jevon Thomas was just another in a long line of players with sketchy academics and questionable discipline issues which the TV Announcer recruited to play at St. John's.

In the link you provided it said jay Wright had offered him a scholarship also

Don't look now but Nova will probably be #1 on Monday. Xavier back in the top 5 too.

Yeah, but you're supposed to disregard that. Jay Wright can do no wrong, you should know that. :)

I'd say #2 after Oklahoma since Nova lost pretty badly to them.

Probably not. It's not like they lost to ISU or KU or even WVU. They lost to a team that 3-7 in conference. That head to head loss is a long time ago. Potential for Maryland to get #1 votes as well.

Yeah true. Honestly wouldn't shock me to see Nova, OU, or Maryland #1. Would be great to see Nova there.

FINAL -- Seton Hall 69, Georgetown 61. Pirates have won 4 in a row in @BIGEASTMBB play for the first time since 2012. They are now 17-6.
