Jon Rothstein tweeted;
Khadeen Carrington last year: 8.8 PPG, 38.3% FG, 28.3% 3-PT FG. THIS YEAR: 14.9 PPG, 41.1% FG, 35.8% 3-PT FG. Has made big jump. #shbb

Just makes it more discouraging knowing that he should have been ours per my previous comment.

Watching Xavier-PC and Reynolds falls down and gets called for a travel. Takes the ball and slams it off the floor right in front of the refs just as Mussini did when he got the T. Realizing it was done in the heat of the moment at the end of a close game, the ref let it go Still pissed at that call against Mussini. Nice W by Xavier tonight at The Dunk.

Visiting Xavier over Providence. Friars' furious late-game comeback attempt from 17 points down falls short.

Two great conference games tonight.

The value of seasoned juniors & seniors on Xavier is evident. Remember that next year when you assess how the Johnnies will do in BE.

Not to mention 4 of their top 6 have redshirted a year either for development or transfer reaaons. Program development at its best.

Xavier has the luxury of incorporating promising freshmen into lineup laced with upper class guys. Mussini, Yakwe & Sima have not enjoyed that advantage, but still have acquitted themselves well, despite the challenge. I believe Mullin, through constant effective recruiting, will build a Xavier type program. Hopefully reloading, not rebuilding will be the norm. Musketeers have also for many years been blessed with outstanding head coaches. That is an unknown for SJU, but suspect Mullin will rise to the occasion. Then again, what choice do I have, but to believe. :)

Lets not forget St. John's beat this Xavier team twice last season with a veteran team.

True & Xavier advanced to BE Tourney final & Sweet 16 in NCAA T, while Obekpa failed a drug test & we imploded as usual in Big Dance.

I was thinking the same watching the game last night. That was a ref who knew time and score plus a little frustration by Reynolds. Talked to him but didn't overreact like Breeding did that night.

Like a Marquette's scheduling a non-conference game in late Jan as confidence booster. 22-2 against Stetson midway thru first half.

would gave been a good time for Incarnate Word about now. Oh wait they smoked us too

Butler loses to M'Q & is now 3&6 in Big East. NIT awaits, surprising.

very surprising. the couple of times I saw them they looked good in the beginning of the season. But then again 1 of those times is when they played us and everyone seems to look good when they play us except syracuse

The Hall taking it to the Creighton in Omaha in the first half. Big game for their NCAA tournament hopes.
