Not sure we will beat them but most folks conveniently forget that had we not lost to DePaul and Creighton we would be 21-7, 2nd in the Big East and nationally ranked with a 6 man roster and only Obekpa as our big of note. Not sure how much of all this is experience, bad luck, player issues or bad coaching. Reality is that basically without a 2014 recruiting class and losing Thomas and ADR this team has overachieved and I for one had them in the NIT as soon as the ineligible players were announced. It will still be a stretch to win 20 regular season games having to play the 2 best teams in the conference in the final 3 games but these guys deserve our admiration for their perseverance and making some of us eat crow.

If the Big East Tourney started today we would be playing Providence and after beating them we would face Nova in the semis.

Nova is the best team in the conference by a landslide. When our 4 guards play their A game, they look like Nova does game in, game out, and Nova's front court is better. Deep, skilled, extremely smart, athletic and Ochefu is the X-factor because when they get big interior play out of him they are really tough.
