You just can't tell with DePaul, they happen to be playing fairly (forgetting Villanove) well and Garrett is a leader. A possession here a possession there and everyone's season is different. DePaul winning though does affect all the RPI's

Very bad loss for Seton Hall. At least we lost to DePaul on the road. Sterling Gibbs 2-16 and 0-7 on 3 pointers, ouch!

Why couldn't he shoot like that against us? We seem to run into all these shooters when they are hot. Gibbs, Dunham, Carlino, etc. It can't just be our defense. We've had some bad luck as well.

Get Butler with no Sheed. Nova after a loss with Sheed's head all screwed up. Get Depaul with injured Harrison. Duke with coach K going for 1000......

In this league, every team has razor thin margin of error with the exception of nova when they are playing well. We've been on the wrong side of the razor twice so far.

Their non-conference record sealed their NIT fate. Imagine, we can possibly play them 4 more times thus season!!!! Especially if you count the NIT.

I have to agree. And DePaul shooting well above their free throw percentage was the icing on the cake. Nova shot very poorly on free throws vs Seton Hall and then decent against us. Can't control some things. I don't blame 3 point shifts because we fail to guard those well.

Assuming they beat Marquette tomorrow (and we know what assuming does, especially in this league, this year), Georgetown probably goes back in the top 25.

For those who saw ADR and Delgado play in high school who was the better prospect then? Watched Delgado go for 19 points and 19 rebounds last night. He is an animal around the basket, wants every rebound, especially the offensive ones.
How much effort did we make to recruit him? Did we want ADR before Delgado?

Georgetown absolutely will be ranked assuming they beat Marquette.

It would be crazy to have only one ranked team with so many top 50 teams, but that's an example of depaul hurting the conference. Providence has a better resume than some ranked teams and deserves it

Delgado
He was a NY Lightning kid. We never get kids from there it seems. Also, former Seton Hall AC Antigua, had him locked up from time spent together on Dominican National squad. He is quite a stud. A lot of folks did not expect him to qualify btw.
