Around the Big East

Up until he moved from his dream job at Providence within conference to Georgetown I had great respect for him.
Spoke with him in Alabama during summer of 2018 and 2019 and he was exceptionally pleasant, the exact opposite of CMA.
Did not help himself on the recruiting trail with that press conference.

He knows the donors are not pleased and appears to be taking full accountability. A more aggressive lack of lateral movement approach. Last ditch effort to motivate his players.

I am a great believer that tough times reveal true character. Much more effective ways for a leader to make a point that that IMO.

Any truth to the rumor that Fr. Shanley’s response was something to the effect: that normally as a Vincentian school, they would happily oblige, but with the amount of money and publicity, St. John’s will be going the Jesuit route and respectfully decline. Business is business.
The Dominican brain surgeon who forced Father Shanley out of PC must be counting coconuts in a parish in Guam.

Too many split votes, victim of his own success because IMO no way are RJ and Zuby both first team all BE players without Kadary.

I’ll beat the clueless fans to the punch because I guarantee we’ll see this one.. “Rick took 1st all BE Kadary and made him 2nd team” 😂😂 No he took an extremely talented player and made him even better.

I am more focused on SJ having three starting mega game changers in Kadary, Zuby and RJ. Not often are we blessed w that. In no way am I diminishing the contributions of blue collar Scott, pace setting Smith & big time make a play Sim.

Opponents have a lot of guys to focus on w this squad.

Yup. Also having two guys very comfortable taking the last shot and Zuby around for cleanup/putbacks makes us very tough in close games.
