Around the Big East

I saw an ESPN article w preseason rankings for next year. UCONN, Marquette 1 and 2 , another be school 10 , I think Creighton, not that it means anything at this time. But the UCONN national championship helped elevate the status of the Big East.
 
DePaul needs to make a Splash by choosing a Elite or former Elite Coach to turn their Program around . They , like us before Pitino , made some poor choices in selecting Coaches . They need a Blockbuster Name as we did . Until that happens , they will remain a bottom feeder in the BE . Their fans , again like us , bemoan not being able to attract or keep homegrown players . Then again , you can understand kids and their parents wanting out of inner City Chicago . But , the big thing is getting that top tier Coach . I have no idea who that would be ? Maybe somebody from the NBA who had College experience .
