Around the Big East

great "interview" for Uconn and getting into ACC today with a drubbing by Clemson 44-7.  Uconn had 99 yards total offense.

Gtown struggling with Dartmouth.  Jordan Riley getting an earful from Coach Ewing.  Hahahahahaha
I watched bits and pieces of that game, they are in for a LONG year, I turned the channel it was looking horrible.

And speaking of Riley, was he playing PG?  Because if I remember correctly that was what his dad was saying was a big reason he choose Georgetown because he was promised an opportunity to run point.  I liked Ewing as a player, but it seems like he might be one of those coaches telling kids one thing when he recruits them and then it's completely different when they get there, he has massive turnover after every year.  I'm still shocked on the Wahab transfer, he made a name for himself with Georgetown in the BE tournament, would have been in the mix to be an All-Big East guy and one of the biggest names in conference and he jets the first chance he gets.

No, Riley was not playing pg.

Seton Hall was impressive today v Yale, some nice pieces and depth

Just because Riley isn’t playing PG doesn’t mean he wasn’t given  chance to try it.  Maybe others were better.  It also does not mean he won’t play it.

Depaul in a dogfight w/ central michigan.

Dogfight? They won by 30

The artist formerly known as the Duke is notorious for posting quick thoughts 5 minutes into a game with a broad brushstroke only to see the complete opposite happen when the final whistle is blown.

HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA.

How bout Marquette/Illinois tonight.  I think Cockburn is still suspended.  I am assuming we should be rooting for all big east teams as that would help our SOS.

Illinois having trouble with Marquette pressure.  Indiana I think may have a lot harder time than they think with SJU’s pressure which is a ton better than anything Marquette puts out.  We have a ton better offense as well.

Fantastic game for Marquette.  Last seconds win.  Agree I’d take Posh over Curbelo every day.  Curbelo sloppy with the ball a lot.  Shaka’s defense bothered the hell out of Illinois.  I hope we do the same to Indiana.

Great win for Marquette and the BE. Horrible FT shooting by Marquette almost cost them. Horrible play by Curbelo cost Illinois.

Not impressed with Curbello.  I’ll take posh
Curbello was awful tonight.  Its like he had crisco on his hands.  Great win for the big east.  Now lets get another one with providence over wisconsin.
