Around the Big East

Bonnies would create a nice competitive NYS rivalry.
It would help us  both re Syracuse in recruiting.
They are probably going to be in the NCAAs most years but are not
directly a media or high school /AAU competitor.
great choice for a Big East choice in my view.
i ealize they dont have the notoriety of many other options.

Good points, but Bonnies don't move the needle when it comes to television contract leverage.  That is what it's really all about.

My best guess is that if there was an addition it would likely be a school considering  dropping FCS football that has some
cache’.  I don’t think any teams out there Rw
attractive enough currently.  If a Memphis-type opened up,
just maybe.  Right now it’s hard to say.

As far as a close scrimmage goes, it means little.  Syracuse had some close ones with st Leo’s over the years that mean nothing.  Our offense will be fine and will come.  I’m more worried about getting on the same page defensively early in the season.  We need to do it sooner than later.  I know I’ve said it a few times, but Indiana is 3 games in and it’s a real concern because we need a road win there to make an NCAA case down the stretch. I worry about sju playing tight enough early on to go into Kansas game undefeated.  I know we will play a lot better than the scrimmage, but how much we shall see. The addition of a center should help us a ton.  I’d dump it down to Soriano every time until it doesn’t work any more.

As to Mr. GQ (like the description), I have no problem with the casual look on the sidelines.  How many  people still wear suits to the office.  My firm went from casual Friday to all business casual at least 15 years ago.  Jay as a "trend setter" could even become a "model" for some company in the mens wear casual business attire such as Banana Republic

I was one of the last holdouts in my office to not go biz casual. Now I dont see myself ever going back to suits on a regular basis and I have I think 15 suits. The one trend I will NEVER go to is this stupid vest trend over your dress shirts in the office. NEVER !!!!!!

I'm not even sure if I put a tie on that I'd remember how to tie it

This past weekend it was my youngest daughter's wedding in Jersey and my wife left me in charge of getting my 20 year old son (who has literally never worn a tie except to his high school graduation and my oldest daughter's wedding) ready. While I can still tie my own tie, trying to tie his from behind was close to driving me over the edge and almost made me forget my father of the bride speech lol!
