That's not obviously including Matt's day-to-day work in general, but a very explicit example of why infrastructure and investing in it makes a big difference.

It seems only way to stop him on scoring end is to get in Ashworth’s grill to prevent as many entry passes as possible. Lately those two have excelled w the two man stuff.

This sounds crazy, but if you're Sha, would you take the St. Bonnies job if it opened? You'd have Woj literally being your GM. You would basically only have to focus on coaching. Still in New York area.

Probably not as crazy as me thinking he might have to drop back down to high major assistant to get himself back into a place with cash after a few years.

He might never get fired, but he might have to bet on himself soon.

Last I looked, Kalk and Ashworth were in the top 5/6 ranked players in the Big East by Kenpom. Isaacs going down has allowed Ashworth to step up and have more game-in, game out usage, it seems, and he's rung the bell. Add the transfer they got in Neal and some of the other shooting/length talent he brought in, it's a good roster. And yes McDermott has done an excellent job as usual pivoting from the loss of Isaacs.
 
Seton Hall absolutely has uber-wealthy alum to tap into. The CEO and co-founder of Crowdstrike is a Seton Hall alum. His net worth is triple that of Repole’s and he’s a big Formula One racing guy. BUT…he apparently has no interest in the basketball program. What can you do? But you need a pied piper like Repole or the Crowdstrike guy to get things moving in the right direction. And you need someone who can rope those whales in.

This was said by Pitino himself in an interview, he was laughing at the tag line...... he does a good job getting in front of a microphone and a camera, that's a good thing.

Local newscasters are started to really cover us again because of Rick and where's he gotten us.
