Around the Big East

I don't know if this was already posted but I watched the last 10 minutes of the Baylor/UConn game and I think we can beat the Huskies at least once if not twice this year. They did not look all that impressive. I know they won by four at Gampel but the last two points came on foul shots with .4 seconds left in the game. I'm also aware Karaban didn't play but this game was played on UConn's home court, VJ didn't play, Roach only played 23 minutes due to an injury and Celestine fouled out scoring zero points. Finally, UConn's backcourt is nowhere near as talented as last year's backcourt. Here's hoping.
We aren't going to be overmatched like last year. We can beat anyone in the BE but also lose to most of the teams if we don't put in the prerequisite effort/make dumb plays.

Holding serve at home in BE is essential, as results thus far v Big 12 show. Let’s continue that Saturday. The road is a bear obviously.
Yesterday was a big plus for the big east. Creighton wire to wire against Kansas is huge. UConn righting the ship a little is also helpful. Also did you see the season best offensive output for SHU against the fightin' Grant Billmeier's :D? I see no reason we can't go 7-4 in the Big East Big 12 battle.

But for real. If Cooley can retain Epps, Fielder, Mack and Sorber, they can have a very interesting team next year. Desperately need a shot blocker at the rim.

Definitely not going to be a slouch like last year
