Around the Big East

Astounded at the dumb play abounding today. Creighton up 3 with the ball, around 40 seconds left, Ashworth dribbles hard into the front court to nowhere except a triple team, Nova gets the ball. Creighton has 4 fouls to give but fouls Dixon on a 3 pointer, he makes them all, then Creighton wins on a tough shot with .2 on the clock. Time and score smart play seems to be a thing of the past.
 
Definitely think UCONN is going to have a lazy game and not snap out of it in time pre-NCAA tourney.
 
UConn/Providence is such a massive game for us in more ways than one it figures we need the 10 point favorite to win and they'll lose
 
The ony way UCONN is not in the Final Four this year is if they have a major injury (God forbid), Danny's head explodes or they literally forget how to shoot the ball.

They have in my opinion an almost perfectly constructed roster. Newton, Karaban, Castle and Spencer are tremendous shooters. Clingan is a beast and his backup Johnson would start for just about every BE team.

They enjoy playing defense.

I just want to see SJU matchup again Friday night with UCONN. They don't have the talent yet to match them but I think Rick will play the underdog angle and have them ready to give them a fight.
