Serious question, if Kolek is not 100%, why play him in the Big East Tournament?

They won the BET last year, their seeding in the NCAAT can only change so much at this point... if he gets reinjured in the BET and can't go in the actual tournament they're going to be kicking themselves

I think the answer is teams take the BET nearly as serious as the big dance. playing in a packed and rowdy MSG is the best atmosphere they get in March

yes if all 3 finish 11-9 we would win tiebreaker. if nova losses to creighton we need uconn to beat providence to get the 5 ....lose tiebreaker with providence

Hurley obviously will be BE HC of Year, but Holloway really has done more with less in BE. His players clearly are scrappy at both ends and imo overachieve especially w limited bench. Up 13 & seem in control

i was thinking just as of tonight - all 3 would be 10-9, SJU is 2-0 vs Nova and 1-1 v Providence so 3-1 in the group; Nova obviously has 2 losses in the group, so it depends on how Providence and Nova did vs one another - if Providence is 2-2 then we would be 5, they would be 6 and Nova 7. Assuming it's based on w-l record among the tied teams, anyway
