Around the Big East

Cooley might have that game circled, but what good is that if they suck?
He can't perform miracles.
lol. I clearly said I think Providence will win didn’t I? Jesus.

Simple fact, his guys will try to win for him. You know he wants that game. Hell, they almost won at the Dunk.

Marq-Creighton game enjoyable to watch. Two good teams going toe-to-toe. Every time I think Creighton is gonna run away, Marq answers.
Obnoxiously quoting myself but holy crap did Joplin posterize Kalkbrenner a few minutes ago. Dunk of the year candidate.

Hey, no argument here, I'd love the surprise of the year and G-Town/DePaul actually get a W in the B.E. other then beating each other up.

Creighton looks slow and tired, meaning that what makes them so good are their cuts and ball movement, which makes up for any lack of physical quickness.

But the ball movement is not as crisp. Did they empty the tank and peak against UConn?

While I give credit to Marquette for hanging in without Kolek on the road, it is also a bit of a dangerous sign for Creighton.

Agree, playing their first five mega minutes all year w very little bench utilization may be a factor too.

McDermott can get a whole other level of athlete at Ohio State, and more of them, which is why I was a little shocked to see that he's working on new contract at Creighton. Unless of course he knows he's not on the final list.

Great regular season team but not built for long March Madness run in most years.

We'll see if this holds, but Georgetown is up double digits on Xavier, with a little less than 5 minutes to go, in the first half
