Around the Big East

Was Seton Hall's non-conference schedule THAT poor? 66 seems very low for 5-1 in the league with wins over #9 and #22, and a road win over #62.
OOC didn't go well for them. Their best win was Missouri, who's NET is 113. They lost to: USC (90), Iowa (58), Baylor (13), Rutgers (85).

Is that much different than our non-conference though? Allright, we beat Utah (better than anyone the Hall beat), but wouldn't have beating Dayton and losing to Houston been better? That's speculation, though.

Michigan and BC beat us, and they're certainly not great teams. Beating West Virginia on the road was nice, but they're terrible, probably going to finish last in the Big 12. I can't even tell you with certainty who the second best OOC team we beat was.

A 32-spot difference just seems like a lot for teams with similar resumes, IMO.

Our two best wins are Utah (17) and North Texas (60). Hofstra is #123. So our 3rd best OOC win was almost as good as their best OOC win. We just did enough to be in a good position for the Big East.

I don't disagree that the margin seems a little out of whack, especially since their BE wins are better than ours. But I do see how their OOC play requires them to do more work to move up.

We beat teams by more than 10 at home is my guess to help build the difference between ours and theirs as well? Which is ridiculous.

Some of our fans will be super sentimental watching this game cuddling up with a blanket, a tub of ice cream, and hugging their favorite stuffed animal, as the tears flow uncontrollably.

I should have bought stock in Kleenex.
Try being grateful to those two kids for the three passionate years they gave us. Save your venom for Creighton and UConn….

…….When the Big 10 added Rutgers they were nothing better than average in football and terrible at basketball. Since then their football has only become worse …..

Rutgers had a pretty good season this year ending with Rutgers defeating the University of Miami in the Pinstripe Bowl 31- 24.

I'm convinced he'd still have hair if he were able to get his emotions under control years ago like he should have.

Nova and Marquette battling. 43-40 MU at the half.

Every time I watch Nova im struck by how poorly coached they often are in key situations.

Justin Moore takes a terrible contested three with 6 seconds left instead of holding for last shot, Marquette gets a run out as a result, Kolek scores at the buzzer. Nova took a timeout before the possession too. Little stuff like that matters in close games. So weird seeing Villanova make these mistakes
