Around the Big East

Tristen Newton is playing lights out for UConn. Suddenly one of the best guards in the country. On a heater right now against Kansas.

Storr was offered the chance (widely reported that he was added to the list after the protist of Soriano and Drissa) to return but what he was looking for in NIL was not something we were willing to do and he decided to go elsewhere.

Posh also had a chance to stay but decided he didn’t want to do what it took to stay, so he walked on his own.

Wusu attacked a Team Manager and was gone regardless as the school administration pulled the plug on him before Pitino signed his contract.

Could we have used the first two, sure but each of them made they their choice.

On the personal side, did you use to be Storm Cloud on the old board?
Bingo ! I wanted the past team back as much as anyone but in hindsight all of it happened for reasons beyond staff control literally and figuratively. It is what it is

Did UConn really want Spencer to be the one to take that shot?????

He’s been bad all night and that wasn’t even close.

I know this ain’t BE related but they did beat Dayton which affects us but damn did Purdue play some smart basketball to tie this game against Northwestern.

Well UConn loses now back to the Washington vs Oregon PAC 12 Football Championship game which has been a great game (I’ve been switching back and forth between it and the UConn game)

Justin Timberlake is a useless player for Kansas. What is he making?
In terms of ridiculousness, he's my baseline for when I say top high schoolers are probably asking for millions. And if they aren't, they should. if you don't ask, you don't get.

getting players these days is part of the battle - and that's something DePaul hasn't been able to do in decades.
It is horrendous coaching that has doomed DePaul

Reed and Strus are NBA players and DePaul did nothing with them.

Their coaching hires the last 3 decades rival our disasters,

Will they find their Pitino?

Marquette is getting their doors blown off by Wisconsin right now! Down 15 with 2:22 to go in the first half. They really look awful.

Wisconsin controlling boards at home and leads Marquette 46-33 at half

Fire Shaka!

Marquette getting beaten by Wisconsin in all phases, shooting, rebounding, FTs, defense. Wisconsin looks like a time that should be ranked In the top 25.

Marquette with a nice run to start the second half but have 2 starters with 3 fouls and 12 1/2 minutes left. One point game now! Marquette just doesn't turn it over. They average 15.7 assists to 8.6 turnovers; phenomenal assists to turnover ratio.
