Around the Big East

The Hall comes back from down 8 late to force OT. I really don't know how we are going to defend Mamu.

The Hall pulls it out and win by six in OT. Mamu scored a career high (30 or 31 points)

Hall wins in OT, great comeback. Agree on Mamu, playing like 1st team all Big East player.

Xavier sophomore forward Zach Freemantle named Big East player of the week

The kind of good, not great high school big to invest in, fundamentally sound & coachable. Xavier is perfect place for him

He's also their captain, unusual for an underclassman to get that nod, but shows the respect staff and teammates have for him.

Exact type of big we never get lol...good size and doesn't look like he's starving, offensive skill down low. Before you say our bigs are more athletic, how did that translate vs. BYU? Skill usually wins out at this level. Athletes can beat the mid and low majors.

Not speaking for anyone but myself...not sure how you took it that way. If I quoted you, I only did so to make my comment relevant.

Oh, okay, so when you said, "before YOU say......" that wasn't speaking for me?

Oh okay, so when you said, " before YOU say..." you weren't referring to me?

But, Ill play your silly game. Which one of their bigs dominated us? Was it Haarms with his 4 points and look of utter amazement when he had the ball taken from him and turned into a fast break? Or was it Borcello, a guard/small forward who torched us for 20 points on 8 of 11 shooting that made the difference?

We shot abysmally from the 3, hurried our shots and played an all around bad game and still only lost by six. But as you well know it was their bigs that made all the difference.

From UConn spokesperson: "Although the CDC offered additional options to shorten quarantine times, it still recommends the 14-day period as the safest option and therefore UConn will continue with that approach."
This is relevant current UConn men suspension of play.

He’s under 6’10 and was a 3 star, how many more boxes do you want him to not check off your list ;)

On ESPN
Creighton at No. 5 Kansas (5 p.m.)

Go Jays, beat the untouched bag men

Didn't Creighton also have some recruits issues?

Yes, one recently, but I like McDermott :)
What are the odds DePaul will even play a game this year?
DePaul will pause all team activities following positive COVID-19 test results among its Tier 1 group prior to the Iowa State game. DePaul’s next two games at Seton Hall this Friday and at Villanova on Monday, Dec. 14 will be postponed, school announced.
